Rumor: Nikon D3500

The name D3500 was floated by Thom Hogan in early 2010 as a possible replacement for the D3000, but that replacement ended up being called the D3100 instead. If Nikon's naming conventions don't get a major overhaul, then a D3500 may well arrive, but not before a D3200, D3300 and D3400, which would put a D3500 somewhere in the 2015-2020 timeframe! Some time in 2010 Date: 1/25/2010 Source: Thom Hogan Rating: 3.8/5, Votes: 4, Comments: 1	Thom's 2010 predictions are the first we've heard of a D3500 (according to him likely a 12mp Sony sensor in a D3000 type body with D5000 type video).
