| | Canon EOS 7D: | Recommendation: Buy Reason: New in Fall 2009, if Canon see this as a replacement for the 60D, then the earliest a replacement would arrive is Fall 2010. However by changing the name we suspect Canon are looking at a longer product life, the 5D series appears to be on a 3 year release cycle, so we'd expect an update in 2011 or maybe even 2012 to be more likely. | | Canon EOS 50D: | Recommendation: Wait Reason: The Canon EOS 60D is probably the most speculated on camera ever to be released (some of the speculation claims the 50D was the end of the line, possibly replaced with a 3D). However rumors are heating up again, so a 60D could be announced before Photokina in September 2010.
