Over the past few days Hejnar Photo has released several new products (all available at the ):
New 90° Block for Panoramic Photography
This is a replacement for the previous 90° block which we featured in our RRS & Hejnar Pano Head Review several months ago. This new block is slightly larger, and has additional tabs to eliminate the possibility of the rails twisting. The new block is available in two widths (1" is part number PART G-101A and 1 3/8" is part number PART G-102A).
New Arca-Style Rails with Ridge
These new rails with anti-twist ridges are available in 4" (part number C1-40, shown above), 4.25" (part number C1-425) and 3.5" (part number C1-350) lengths. These rails are ideal for mounting on smaller lens feet that feature a single tripod socket, and even on DSLR's.
New Arca-Style Rails without Ridge
This is a 4" Arca-Style rail with 2 captive screws, ideal for use with larger lenses that feature two or more tripod sockets in the lens foot. We use a similar lens plate from Hejnar PHOTO on our 70-200mm f2.8 - details here.
New Adapter for NIKON SC-29 Strobe Cord
The Nikon SC-29 Flash Cord has a wider base than just about any other flash cord on the market. Flash brackets from some manufacturers are adjustable to account for this (for example, the Custom Brackets GFM), however the majority of flash brackets from numerous manufacturers (including products from RRS and the Wimberley F-1) require you to purchase a separate adapter to make the SC-29 fit. For only $15, the Hejnar PHOTO Adapter screws to the bottom of the SC-29 cord's cold shoe and makes the cord compatible with these flash brackets.
New Hejnar PHOTO Quick Release MAMYIA 645 Camera Plate
An Arca-Style camera plate for the Mamiya 645 Cameras.
New Hejnar PHOTO Quick Release Camcorder Plate
This new plate features a pin that inserts into the socket that most camcorders have near their tripod socket, which prevents the camcorder twisting loose.
